This bothers me! I’m not entirely sure why. It made me think of what Jean Kilborne said in Killing Us Softly, about how objectifying women, especially by overtly making them into objects, lends itself to committing violence against them. But I think beyond that, these ads irritate me because they’re just so ugly and stupid.
I leave for London 6 weeks from today!
